Hello everyone! I am Vida, and my friends and family sometimes call me Vids.

I am from the Philippines and a resident of Tarlac City. I’ve been an English teacher for 35 years now. I’ve taught English grammar and Literature in several colleges and universities in the Philippines, including my alma mater, Saint Louis University in Baguio City, at the College of the Holy Spirit here in Tarlac City, and most recently, at Academia de Santiago of Tarlac, Inc., where I also managed the school as Assistant Principal.

I have also written and published several English textbooks to my name used by elementary and high school students all over the Philippines.

I’ve trained several students who took the TOEFL, TOEIC, and IELTS. I took the IELTS myself several years ago, and had a band score of 8.5. I have an ESL experience teaching Koreans for 6 years. I have an online teaching experience with Koreans and Japanese students.

I love reading books, watching tennis games, cooking, and listening to music during my free time.

My guiding principle in life is to always strive for excellence, never settle for mediocrity, and to always go for the gold.
